On this Learn Computer Aided Manufacturing Ivan goes through the basic steps of Computer Aided Manufacturing. Ivan describes Computer Aided Manufacturing as one of the most misunderstood parts of the Computer Numerical Control Process.  This is so because, as Ivan states, many more people use and understand Computer Aided Design, which is the design part of the process.  When it comes to manufacturing, where Computer Aided Manufacturing comes it to play, and actually making the product, there are far fewer people involved. Ivan describes that this is why Computer Aided Manufacturing Software is not as prevalent as Computer Aided Design Software. CNC Machine Tutorial CNC Video – Learn CNC Software

 Ivan Irons at CNC has just completed a new CNC Basic E-Course learning series about the CNC Process. Ivan has just completed video three, which discusses CAD, in the series of 6 video’s; video’s one and two were previously released. It is a seven part video course that walks an amateur through the basic process of CNC. It contains many useful topics and instructions to help beginner CNC enthusiasts. The CNC basics E-Course is a video series that was created for the CNC Beginner to give a brief overview of the major steps of the CNC process.  Ivan made sure to use simple language to explain complex processes and narrates each video with his own personal tips included.  The six videos in the basic E-Course will cover the five prominent steps in CNC: DesignCadCamControllingMachining

 Video 3:In this CNC Basics Video Ivan takes the listener through CAD. CAD Stands for Computer Aided Design. Ivan explains in detail that during the CAD step we take our initial design and translate it into the computer. He walks you through this CNC step and shows you how one can change the design, resize it, save it, transfer it to someone else, etc. During this CAD video Ivan also teaches how to design parts, then assemblies, then groups, then machines.  Ivan seems to have a talent for taking a complex topic such as CNC, picking out the most important aspects, and breaking down those topics into laymen terms. CNC Machine Tips Revealed in Ivan Irons’ CNC Router

Ivan continues his CNC Machining Ecourse with video 6, where you find CNC Machining Tools, various types of CNC Machines, and safety tips for CNC Machining.  CNC Machining is the topic of choice for Video 6 in Ivan Irons CNC Ecourse video series. CNC Machining is the fifth and final step in the CNC Process and Ivan ensures to make a detailed depiction on the CNC Machining process. He covers topics such as the CNC Tooling you will need, the various types of professional and home CNC Machines, and CNC Machining safety. Ivan spends a lot of time on taking the CNC student through the types of CNC Machines such as, CNC Plasma Cutter, CNC Mill, CNC Woodrouter, etc. He includes as many photo examples as possible and even shows CNC tooling and CNC Machines within his own shop.

CNC Machine and CNC Software Tutorial Video

A new CNC Control video has been released by Ivan Irons at CNC Machine. Video 5, in a series of 6, which break down the CNC process, revolves around CNC Control. Ivan breaks down a complex topic in this easy to follow tutorial video where he describes CNC Control Computers, CNC Control Software, and CNC Controllers.  CNC Control Computers, CNC Control Software, and CNC Controllers are what Ivan spends breaking down and walking the CNC beginner through in this 5th video in his learn CNC ecourse. CNC Control is the 5th step in the CNC process that includes video’s on design, CAD, CAM, and Machining. Ivan spends time discussing the importance of the CNC Computer itself, giving real life tips from personal experience. He then moves onto the more important CNC Control Software. He describes that CNC Control Software is what processes the G-Code program that Ivan discusses in Video 4. Finally, Ivan closes the video by breaking down what exactly a CNC Controller is and how its function impacts the CNC process. 

Ivan recommends the tutorial videos to those beginning the CNC process, however, with the personal experience and tips that Ivan sneaks into his CNC Control video, any level of CNC hobbyist can gleam insight. The videos in this basics series that have been released can be found at: CNC Software
